Hi gnarlysurferdude! You have a bug in the contest? And Guy, you can get slides scanned into digital images; but an ordinary scanner will not give best results, since the image area is so small. You can probably send it out to have it done. There are places that do it for $1-$2 per slide. Look for a place that will also prepare (clean and remove dust), because that's a pain to do afterwards with software.

Great shot! I rarely see otters (and never here in Nevada.) I have seen some in the warm marsh waters in Florida, which surprised me. I have a nice shot of two of them on my website but I don't think I have it on Panoramio. I'll see if I can dig it up sometime. In any case these photos of yours are great. What a treat! Beth
