I live on the banks of Lake Ontario. We are advised not to swim in it, we are advised not to fish in it and we are definitely told not to eat any fish that are caught in it. In the high summer we are even advised not to let our toddlers paddle in it.
I often get up before dawn and go out to catch the sunrise. Living only five minutes drive away makes the Lake very accessible. If you look at the pictures In my tgallery, you will see spectacular sunrises. Unfortunately the orange effect is caused by smog being belched out by the two steelworks in Hamilton.
You can see why Lago Le Ledro is so appealing to me. Look out for and cherish the lake. Do not let anybody or anything damage your lake and countryside

I looked at some of your pictures. They are very beautyful. I am wondering why there are so many prohibitions for Lake Ontario... is it deep? or is it dangerous for any reason? Lago di Ledro is so charming, it is quite small and the water is a bit cold, but anyway it is delightful. Many German people come down in summer to swim fearlessly, as in Germany they are used to much lower temperatures. Have you ever been there?

Mila esker Jose! Agur, jauna. Ikusi arte.
