Have you ever been to this part of Spain or France? I really liked it, even if it was a very short trip.

Greetings Justin, What a great presentation of this subject. The detail of the ship is wonderful when you zoom in on it. I wonder what the foundry mark says at the base. I couldn't make it out. A great picture.

Hi Rich, thanks for your kind words. Looking at my hi-res version, I can't read much more than what I think is "Uzam" for the first four letters. The last three (?) letters are impossible to make out.

Thanks Marcelo! Glad you like the framing, it was a bit difficult to achieve it as I'd just put my telelens on, and then I saw this lamppost... so I had to stand on the five-lane road to make the picture, just an issue of good timing ;)

Great composition Justin. I think the tele lens with a shallow depth of field is what makes it work. Hopefully you didn't have any cars swerving to avoid you. :)
