Hello LM thank you for your appreciation. According to me; it is not a sad image at all. This young girl is just appreciating the pleasure of mediterranean kids. Stay in a window to get the spectacle of the street and the freshness of the air, very wellcome in summer. I did not perceive it as a kid in a prison but it reminded me certainly of my moroccan childhood. Those hours of choosen solitude passed in a mind upper room. I might be wrong in the case of this very little girl. But I did not perceive it that way. And she was so interested in what was going on in the street, and at that time it was me the event that she stayed there staring at me and did not try to hide while I was taking this picture of her.
