This is not a view of Val d'Isere that I recognise as the buildings in the left appear too tall and the mountains to the right don't match the area.

Hi Alpagem, this is in the right place. We were staying in a chalet on a side road just up fromRue de la Balme. It isn't at the smart end of town - maybe that's why you don't recognise it? ;-)
