A wonderful picture. This may sound surprising, but this island, at least the way you have it tagged, has actually belonged to my family for some time. My parents were the last to visit it formally, though it is nice to see that others have taken pleasure in its beauty. I personally have never been there, though I plan to this summer, before my uncle (the current owner) sells it (hopefully to the county/township!)

Also interesting is I grew up on Whiskey Point, the cottage on the mainland at the west end of this island. Kenyoncoll2009, I must have met your uncle, liked to paddle around the island to kick people off when he was younger. He knew my Granny, Mrs. Hart. This is a soso pic of the second beach, the first being very rocky. I spent my childhood jumping off the rock cliffs on the NorthEast side of island. And running around the island with my friends and family. Island aslo known as Langmaid's Island or Adamson's Island.
