Great photo, Lars. A few years back my son and I traveled the south shore of Lake Superior - I think the area was called "Pictured Rocks" - that had the same type of feel as this shot offers.

The cliffs at Pictured Rocks are sandstone, whereas the cliffs at Lake Superior Provincial Park are granite. This leads to some different terrain, but yeah they are similar, and both are absolutely beautiful to experience, especially when the water is warm enough to swim in. We spent one evening swimming around and hanging out on a little offshore island that you can walk to via some shallow water, pretty unique.

ou take nice photographs Lars. Went kayaking at Pictured Rocks and the Apostle Islands with my wife years ago. I'm still stunned by their beauty. Some of the ncest coastline I've ever seen. I would like to kayak Georgian Bay next year. These photos help a great deal. Thank you.
