Taken of Coast Line on South Inlet along a route that used to connect Back Bay fresh water to the Atlantic Ocean. Since this inlet has been closed, the nearest inlet to the ocean is Rudee Inlet in Virginia Beach resort or Oregon Inlet in North Carolina.
