Dear Prof. Piovesean, [ I presume :) ]
Thank you very much for kind comments to my 3D pictures.
I am using single camera and taking two images with some distance between them as well. It is extremely easy and results are very often "mind blowing" and much higher quality than other commonly known methods that require additional tools to view 3D. I am very happy to see that you're as passionate as I am about sharing the 3D pictures from our planet.
Best wishes from Chicago :)

Whoah! THAT is amazing! Did you get your foot wet? I've got the bug now too and have tried a few if you care to look!

Thanks again for your comment VKeith. Yes I have seen your work. From what I see, you can experiment with larger shift distances to make the "depth" effect more pronounced.
Pass the bug around :) Best wishes from Izmir

How do we see the 3D effect without a viewer such as a stereo opticon?

Hello Tom, there is a discussion about 3D in the forum section which I hope would be helpful. But basically you need to cross your eyes until you'd see 3 images. If you can do this you'll perceive the one in the center as 3D. Good luck and best wishes from Izmir. Volkan

Thank, Volkan. I thought it worked like you explain. I almost got the effect but I did it with a rather sloppily cut card and I'm not sure my viewing distance was correct. Now that I know in general how it works, I'll try it again.

Well Tom, I am very happy that you are one of the rare individuals who can see 3D strait from the computer screen. As you see, possibilities are endless, Enjoy :)
Cheers from Izmir, Volkan
