Just to correct your version of "Ivujivik" really means, there we're hunters who harvested Walrus during one winter at the shores of what they once was called "Nuvuk" (meaning the point), those hunters after killing two walrus tied the two dead walruses together on a rock which was on the shore and then went home (which was nearby) to get help, while they we're gone, the strong currents moved the ice ridge into shore and buried the walrus and they ended up losing the harvest, Ivujivik means " a place where one lost, due to ice ridge build up"
