Morpeth, Northumberland, England was flooded 6th September 2008 when the River Wansbeck flowed over the flood defences. Previous record flood was on the 7th March 1963. This photo was taken the day after on the 7th Sept 2008 when river levels in places had dropped by nearly 3 meters. Over 1000 homes were affected some flooded to a depth of 1.5 meters.
