I love the soft pink in the clouds, Marilyn -- well done. Looks like the fall colours are just starting, it would be nice to see this shot in a few weeks too.

Thank you, Jacques, Vera, Bruce, and Kasia. We took a slightly slower, more scenic way home from visiting our sons and daughters-in-law, and we were rewarded by lovely views. It will be very beautiful in a few weeks, but I need to stay home and get some work done!
Greetings, Marilyn

Hi, Daniela, and thanks for your comment.
I've had a proposal accepted for a paper to be given at a meeting of independent scholars in California on Oct. 25th. I still need to do some research in addition to pulling together the research I've done and writing the paper! It's about a woman who was a missionary to the Kiowa Indians in Oklahoma in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and how she became a strong advocate of the rights of Native Americans. I should have worked on it during the summer, but I was having too much fun with photography!!
Cheers, Marilyn

Hello Marilyn! What a beautiful scenery! I love the late summer/early autumn colours and the reflections! It would be nice to go back there in a couple of weeks when the leaves have changed their colours and red, brown and yellow are prevailing! Greetings, Anne
