La combe embrumée

Cette combe située dans le Haut-Jura est celle que je préfère. En été, il faut se lever très tôt pour avoir droit à cette brume qui donne toujours une atmosphère spéciale à ce lieu.

Pour la traduction, je viens de demander à une amie anglaise par mail. Dès que j'ai la réponse...

Le spectacle doit être assez sympa, en effet. Je ne connais pas le Jura mais ça donne envie d'aller y faire un tour.

Ben Philippe, ta question pose problème :

« I can't find 'combe' in my Harrap's, but from the definition in Larousse it seems a 'combe', geologically speaking, is quite a complicated formation (from glacier epoques?) The only thing I can think of would be : Early mist hanging over high ground in a valley which doesn't sound nearly so poetic or compact as the French version. Maybe : Morning mist over the heights of a valley. But I will need to think it over and see if inspiration comes with the photo in my mind's eye and will let you know if anything brilliant comes up ! »
