Largest sessile oak (Quercus petraea) in Germany. Girth circa 9.50 metres (15 metres at ground level). Estimated age 400-500 years. In good condition. Very close to the border of the river Lahn.
What a beautiful tree, toes in the water no doubt : ) LIKE, Ian
Toes surely in the water. I was there in summer and the water level was quite high.
Thanks for the LIKE.
