Good Morning Eva.f, Thanks for the sentiment. It was the most enjoyable part of each day. I would get up early, put on a headlamp and head out for my photo point. We stayed in cabins at Colter Bay and it was a 1.5 mile walk out to the lake shore. There were always chirping birds and little furry creatures, but one morning there was a deer who just stood there and let me walk by about 20 feet away. He was really used to people. It was to dark to get a picture of him. I would set up the tripod and watch the sky go pastel and wait for the first light on the mountains. After the light was gone I would hike back and meet the family for breakfast before going out to do the tourist things in the park. Thanks for visiting my collection. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

what a precious sight, Rich, that is the reward for early birds (of which I don't belong to, sadly). I can imagine it must be a gorgeous walk down here with all the wildlife springing to life. The calm waters and mountain are beautifully framed by the trees and the fading moon is a lovely addition to the image. I'll put it into my favorites to enjoy at leisure, if you don't mind. Y* Greetings, susan

Greetings Criss, Thanks for visiting on the shores of Jackson Lake as the sun came up to illuminate Mt. Moran. This is my third most favorite place for Teton sunrises. Did you see the deer and the hawk on the way back out? I am glad you liked it. Cheers, Rich

Beautiful early in the morning! The first rays of the sun painted the contours of mountains in pink and the moon is leaving from the sky. I think, it must be very special feelings at this moment... Greetings, Elena

Greetings Elena, You are so right. No one wants to get up early to walk with me before the sunrise so I usually get out by myself. It is very peaceful. There are usually one or two other people you meet on the trail, but mainly it is deer, birds and squirrels. When the sun comes up it is a magic time. When I get back to the cabins, everyone else is awake and ready to go get breakfast. Cheers, Rich
