Really idyllic and amazing view Marilyn! Congratulations, Tamás
Greetings Marilyn, This is a very nice setting. I guess the first thing you notice is the emergency phone - it really stands out. Shame we have come to that on our campuses. Beautiful architecture. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, Tamás, Rapidshot, and Rich. I'm sorry that the intrusive emergency phone is thought to be needed, but but as a woman who has often walked through universities at night, I'm glad it's there.
As you see from the map, the campus is in downtown Toronto, but its beautiful architecture and landscaping make it an oasis in the big city.
EXCELLENT shot Marilyn :-)Nice frame, and good sight :-) Cheers EVa
Thank you, Eva. I'm glad you like it. Cheers, Marilyn
There are many interesting contrasts in this shot, Marilyn!
Ciao from Italy, Flavio
Good eye! :)
It's a very good image, Marilyn and one of your distinctive genres. I appreciate the sharpness of the foreground frame and the human elements, particularly. Ian
The architecture of the building not attached to the phone.the contrast is interesting.Cheers, Miguel
Thank you, Flavio, Luis, Ian, Miguel, and Irene.
I loved the archway with its ivy, but some construction made a picture the other direction impossible. But there was that red thing!!! Gradually I realized that it offered an interesting contrast, both visually and in terms of what the photo "said". Sometimes what at first seems bad turns out to be good! Cheers, Marilyn
Very nice and interesting shot Marilyn!!
Greetings from Greece, Kostas
I like the framing and how the photo works. Nicely done Marilyn.
Thank you, Kostas, Larry, and blai. I loved the archway but wasn't sure I could get a satisfactory photo. I'm glad you approve. Marilyn
Hahaha!! The phone is a good detail Marilyn. I like very much your "deeper views". This is a great shot. Cheers!
And I like your comments, Pepe!! Thanks.
Marilyn i like this picture very much.
Thank you, Jacques. I'm glad you found this and I appreciate your comment.
... not really a phone here but also useful when it comes to an emergency
