skida this is a very lovely photograph. one that can be framed and hung! kat
Thanks kat. I am just pleased it turned out ok as it was very dark amongst the trees.
Height of the British Summer do I detect a touch of irony there Skida? I understand it has been damper than usual this year.
Commiserations (and salutations) from sunny North Carolina !
(However, you can get your own back here)
As is usual, it had been sunny all day until I picked up the camera and then the heaves opened. I realise that this little bit of rain is nothing compared to the little bit of weather being experienced in the southern states at the moment.
Thanks for dropping by, jethrohoyt
We'd like some of that English summer over here, Keith. The only time we get cloud it produces dry lightning and forest fires. We had a few strikes again yesterday, but the fire services were ready, and stamped the fires down quickly.
We'll all breathe a big sigh of relief when the rains finally do arrive.
Greetings from bone-dry northern California,
Thanks Paul. I just noticed the exif info: 1/20th sec; f2.8; ISO800. It was quite dark and I am thankful for Image Stabilisation!
Hope our rain heads your way soon.
This one is definitely a great one, yellow star for me.
Love the mysterious mood in this photo...
Many thanks for the Y*, Rafael and thanks to Epi too.
