Great shot!Beautiful picture! Greetings from Turkey
Thank you ahmeth!
Ah, now I see. You are one of the few non arachnaphobics I know of.
This mushroom looks so delicate Jean I wonder if it is poisonous?
Jim, don't know the mushroom stuff at all. I just look at them and get mine from the store. But I am getting a book and try to learn more but I still don't think I will eat any from out in my woods. Call me chicken if you want.
We don't have to worry too much about spiders here, they are harmless except for a couple that are easy to spot and are very rare. These spiders couldn't bite you even if they wanted to, they don't have the mouth for it, won't open large enough to get a hold on you.
The only time I get bothered by spiders is once in a while they make a dashing movement, and some can really run. Sort of like the same thing a mouse does. Then I go, eeek a spider or eek a mouse and jump up in the air and scream out loud. Very loud.
There was a guy on local TV collecting all manner of Fungi from the woods for the kitchen. When asked about the risk of accidental poisoning, he said that one or two doses should not be fatal and would, in most cases, give you severe stomach pain. Repeated ingestion could be fatal. Buy the book Jean then be prepared to live a little dangerously :))
I am afraid that I will be tempted to try once I get the book. My digestive system is strong as iron, or so I am told so maybe...
Thanks for the encouragement Jim!
Haha, this must be an evans strongpoint, I too have a cast-iron constitution.
It is a wonderful blessing!
So strange and beautiful Jean!!
Why, thank you, Kostas! They are common here but so small that one can easily overlook them.
Mushroom? See this one.Cogumelo
