A great place to bird, hunt, walk, camp or drive trails, the forest is all planted by hand. The USForest Service grows trees to repopulate those western forests where fire has taken its toll. This forest is a little-known jewel in the Sand Hills of Nebraska. The people in nearby Halsey are great!
