Dear Simona,

I pleased that you received this as autumn greetings. Here it is Spring as we are in the southern hemisphere, so you may also receive them as Spring greetings from me.

But I took this photo recently while I was on a tiny island in the Solomon islands where it is summer all year round, so it doesn't matter what time of year you are there, there will always be some new shoots, some mature leaves and some red leaves preparing to drop.

Isn't our world fascinating?

Warmest greetings to you from here in Sydney's spring.

Ian

Interesting contrast between the red and the green. R

Nature certainly can create beauty so naturally. A splash of colour here, a daub there and it all comes to life against a neutral background!

Dear Ian, so it is .. we live in a world fascinating!!! It's wonderful to be always summer, sunshine and flowers! But sometimes I like cold winter with much snow, white and beautiful! Then sit in the heat of fire to the house and dream about spring, flowers and sun and they're welcome! Thank you very much for your nice comment! Warmest greetings to you from Romania...! Simona

And I would love to sit beside the fire in a Romanian winter with you Simona, and then later discover the bursting of Spring and all its colour. But it would also be nice to have wandered through a summer with you and then retire to the fireplace and coffee for long chats in the autumn as it descends around us.

With warm spring greetings from Australia.

Ian
