Hi tommyj - thanks so much! And you also have a very enjoyable gallery - I've just enjoyed a little tour of South Africa and of Yellowstone Park!

Thanks very much ITXU! I made several visits to this spot at sunset before I could catch a good one, but it was sure worth the very fun effort!

Thanks very much David! The inner shore of the Cape is sure one of the best sunset places around!

I go camping at Nickerson State Park in Brewster every summer, I sometimes visit the beaches but I have never seen such a beautiful sunset over the ocean like the one you have captured. Truly an amazing photo! -David

Thanks David! We used to rent cottages on the shore here in summer, so found out the very easy way how great the sunsets are over the bay, especially when it's low tide at sunset so you get the mile of shallow flat water reflecting the sky - like this other shot of the same sunset here. So, especially if you're at Nickerson, it's well worth heading across Rt 6 at sunset - easiest for you would be to head to the end of Linnell Landing.

Or go to the little-known but premier spot a bit to the east: Rock Harbor, where sunset is an experience rivaling Key West. A great view, AND in summer the town brings in a calypso-singing, steel drum-playing musician to providing the sound track at sunset on the week-ends. It's great!

thanks for the advice, i'll make sure to visit Linnell Landing this summer!

I used to rent cottages on Winslow Landing Rd. near Jt's restaurant then we switched to camping, thanks again.

Thanks Drew! and nice to just sit back and enjoy without having to talk through it :) It's a pretty special place when low tide coincides with sunset.

Hi David - we did also! And I believe I'd have stopped at JT's for lobster roll and ice cream after the sunset finally wore off :)

Thanks Steve! Glad you had one of the early comments!

Thanks very much Barat!
