Favescent flambeau and faculas so fulgent. Fine facture kamaly!!
...I have no f words left.
Gracias, Inspector! But lol, are those real words???
Glowing globe on Google-Earth!
...oh Bits they most certainly are - and any English professors looking in will verify the translation that this pic has a "yellowish flaming torch and sunspots shining brightly. Fine workmanship kamaly" I might tell you I had to work on them for a while til they made some sort of sense!!!) H and "H" anyone????
I hadnt seen Susan Allen's before. How time flies when you are having fun.... Still a grouse shot.
I have to complain at the Inspector's elision of the 'L'. The first word should be flavescent. flavus is the Latin word for yellow (so flavescere means to turn yellow).
See, I got here from the link from that other website and gor blimey, kamalyn! The colours here are as if you had Capture NX 2 all along. :D
Yup Dianne, Sue's poem back there is well worth the reading! Maybe she'll include it in her NEXT book!
Thanks about the photo who! This was one of those sunsets that provided about 20 unique shots, all very different of each other ;) Seriously: the shot to the left over the map posted by 'someone else' we know was the same sunset. That one could actually really use C-NX to get sharper...And I think we can excuse the Inspector's lack of an 'L' to the hazards of quick typing on the internet. Although I thought maybe it referred to Fava Beans :)
Favaescent obviously means "full of beans" :D See, I know latin too!
Super shot Bitsy! That is nice bouncy ball for the triplets to play with.
Beans, of course, … fabulous fabaceous, fabiformed fava beans!!! Hello Nawitka you Latin scholar!!
Ah who you logophile you!!! It would seem lippitude or lassitude caused the loss of the letter l resulting in a seemingly lamentable lapse in literacy and a frightful failure of facture, but luckily not falsidical cos favescent aint no word at all!!!! Logorrhea rocks!! Ha ha and hi to all in my brief return….Clancy of the overflow
Hi clancy welcome back, best you go and hide under the bed, naughty weather on its way. Bye, I am going to get under the bed with Buffy. :(
Dianne: under the bed? Why didn't you get some photos of the storm for us??? You could have impressed everyone in your photography class as well! Oh well. We can all hope that either the Inspector or Clancy snapped us some good hail storm shots! Eh Clancy ?
And Many Mercis Nawitka! Yup - its a great beach for kids. Tide goes out what seem like a mile, staying about 12" deep at low tide. Tuckers those triplets out every time! (Gnarly doesn't care for it though: No Surf!)
I am sure if Clancy or Inspector was near where the real storm hit, she would get some, but it seemed to be mainly inner city, but we didnt get any out here, but there were plenty of suburbs with heaps of damage. I admit to being the biggest sook ever when it comes to storms.
