JeannyHoyt welcome to Raleigh (pron Ral-ay, like Chill-ay)

Lake Lynn is the center piece of a number of apartment complex and is, itself a city park. It has a 2.25 mile loop trail around it that gets very busy with duck-feeding families, walkers, striders, cyclists and even one lady who takes her cockatoo for a walk.

Now the clocks have gone forward or back or whatever (Yippee) we will be around there more often. The wildlife is something else. Panoramio has been gracious to me in including lots of my Lake Lynn images in Google Earth.

All the best and good luck with your trip.

This scene defines tranquility, but the duck is more interested in the fisherman than the rich colors of sunset.

The duck is a dang Muscovy Duck which hiss and groan at you as you wander around the lake.

This was a great evening for colors, the likes of which we have not really seen since.

HDR helped a wee bit too.

All the best Larry from Raleigh, North Carolina
