From Arches, I went to Zion National Park, also in Utah. Two days, and three major hikes.
I am mostly moved into my new apartment and settled into my new job now, and I've started going through my vacation photos again. I will get them uploaded bit by bit.
For now, this beginning of the day shot is one of my favorites. :)
I can see why its one of your favorites Ryan!
Lovely shot! The light of the morning sun is just wonderful on the rocks!!
Greetings fron Greece, Kostas
The quiet of the new day and a hint of mystery at at it will hold ... Beautiful, Ryan!
Where are you located now--or must we figure that out from your photos after you've shared the rest of your vacation ones?
Fantastic place, fantastic photo Ryan! Greetings Eva
Glad to see your photos on here again Ryan! Where did you move?
Thank you Kostas, Marilyn, Eva, and Dann! Zion is one of those places that's always new and different, and I did not want to leave. I want to go back to see what it's like during winter and spring.
Really, I didn't move that far. Just to the north side of St. Louis, about an hour away from where I lived before. But now my morning commute is only eight minutes. :)
Great shot Ryan. You've captured just enough detail in the shadowed canyon to peak my interest. Would love to visit Zion and Bryce. Maybe the next trip...
Best regards, Tom
Thanks Tom. Zion is truly amazing, especially at morning and evening. There are sunbeams and glowing rocks everywhere you turn, and a camera just can't capture the way it looks to actually be there. You won't be disappointed.
