Thank you all. Aender, this house may be beautiful but you might find it a little cramped after a while. ;o)

Nice photograph Jessica. I had to smile (and then mention it) as I looked at the map over right I notice there is no message under the map saying near Calgary or anything. So I must conclude that this lovely little house is not near nothing!
Greetings from the flat South.

You're right, jethrohoyt. In terms of towns I guess it's not near anything. The nearest town of Saskatchewan Crossing is some 50km to the south. But this little hut is in a very busy area, even in shoulder season. It's right at the base of the Athabasca Glacier, one of the major tourist attractions in the Canadian Rockies. So, middle of nowhere or not, it's a crowded place. :)

Jeccica wonderful colours, and that little quaint shed in the middle of nowhere, would be a wonderful place for a bit of R & R. Dianne

Wonderful colours - the plants that is! But what was the water department thinking of!?! The colour of the hut is so out of place.

Thanks for commenting, Dianne, Gerry, Ákos and Nawitka. Gerry, what exactly is wrong with turquoise for a little shed beside the pond? :) Nawitka doesn't mind it.

:) I think the turquoise paint is a nod to either the copper roofs of the grandiose Banff Springs Hotel (et al); or the usual summer colour of the mountain lakes in the Rockies. And I just like turquoise anyway!

that's a very satisfying little scene - IMHO the angular shape of the hut and its colour set off the warm pastel shades of the landscape perfectly. Graham
