I'm half Scots, so thanks for visiting the Ben. You have caught a very nice view with Lochan Meall on the right. Seems like you picked a good day, did you make the summit?

I visited Scotland in 1992, touring from Edinburgh trough the highlands to Inverness and back. A really nice country with all four seasons each day (as I remember) and very nice people, they made me drunken untill i kissed the floor ;)

Much to my regret i did'nt make the summit of the ben because i was there together with my wife and she wanted to quit, about 200m below the top!!! (I still remember an old Scotsman with a long beard RUNNING up the ben in the morning and when we made maybe half the distance that guy came running back! I am sure HE made the summit...)
