A berlini Neue Wache a német építész és festõ, Karl Friedrich Schinkel egyik korai alkotása. Az oszlopcsarnok és az oszlopok a Kr.e. a VII. századból származó dór stílust követik. Az eredetileg a királyi õrségnek szállást adó épületet 1931-ben az I. világháborúban elesettek emlékmûvévé alakították át, majd az 1960-as évektõl a fasizmus és a háború áldozataira is emlékeztet.
