  • Thank you very much, Nancy.
  • Well, I took this through my sunglasses, this gives the pic a certain effect, especially with the sun.

  • Thanks, Nancy. Nice idea, isn't it? But it's only possible if the lens of your camera isn't too big so it has to fit completely behind the lens of your glasses.
  • And there is another thing: sunglasses of good quality should be polarized. That means, the glasses let the light only in one way through their lenses; horizontally I guess. This means there should be a difference if you hold the glasses vertically or horizontally. If not, your glasses are not polarized ... maybe this is a test for your sunglasses. :-)

Hi there Polytropos (this sounds very Greek!). Now I finally saw that you have added some information a long time ago, sorry for not noticing it before.

Still a little pecular is the fact that I finally bought two polarized sunglasses last week!!! (without reading you message!) This after 1,5 year because I dit not find one suitable for my funny cheeks, but I was determined to find one because it is so much saver driving (and parking!!!) with the winter sun.

So after reading your last comment, I found out (rather surprised) that I am actually now ready for taking such a foto. Still I have to check if my lens is not too big, but my sunglasses are rather trendy so it will be o.k. :-D)

Now we have to wait for snow (possible) and mountains (this might be a small problem in Holland), but nothing is impossible ;-)

Thanks for you advices, greetings Nancy

P.S. not polarised sunglasses do not have to be bad sunglasses. Only Polaroid Eyewear and special Ray-Bans (with an extra P as I remember but I cannot find that on their site) are sold at the 'opticiens' in the Netherlands in 2008 (and I think 2009) with Polarised lenses. And there were many other very expensive sunglasses (about 300 euro's) and I cannot believe that these good shops sell such expensive but bad sunglasses. Though - indeed - polarised lenses are (one of the) safest and therefore best for most circumstances.
