Thank you 静静的白桦树 for your visit in the arenas from Nîmes. Here, we are in the South of France and it takes place quite as in Spain. The bullfight lasted three hours and ended at night.
Greetings from France, Bernard
This is a great Picture Bernard, good to see you are in the expensive seats, and in the shade.:-))
Thank you for your nice comments, Scally. But, don’t repeat it, I returned with a ticket in 20, 50 € valid for amphitheatres, quite at the top, and I settled down in the seconds above the presidency. I am Nîmois; in these arenas I am a little at home… MDR… (MDR = LOL)
Perfect time, the shadow edge brings viewers' eyes to the performers who were still on the bright side. Very nice.

So many people!!! Maybe, it's fantastic to see this!
Greetings from Ukraine, Olya
Hi jiangliu! Thanks for your nice comment, I had forgotten you! Side sun and side shade in these arenae, but the corrida was very long and ended under lights at night. Sebastian Castella fought seven bulls alone!
Hi Olya! Yes, it's a fantastic show to be seen. Arenae are full, but there was some more people at the time of the Roman because in means age people demolished inside to take stones to construct their houses. It sees itself on the photo, at the bottom bleachers are missing. They are going to be rebuilt but it will take 40 years.
Bernard, thank you for the info. It must be a very impressive show. Wish I were there too. jiangliu.
ca bouge et on entend les cris de la foule.
J'apprécie vraiment ton travail . Pas de cosmétique , que du vrai jus!
Merci Fernand pour ton commentaire sympa qui me touche beaucoup.
But yes, Rock, sometimes it wins! If the bull is brave and courageous then it is pardoned! That happens from time to time!
Greetings from southern France, Bernard
Will the bull die? Can I eat its meat?
Jeff, yes the bull is dead! This is the purpose of the Corrida (or Bullfight)! It must kill the bull to eat it! Normally, there are six bulls in a Corrida and three bullfighters. The bullfighters fight two bulls each. The bulls come one after another, each in turn. They are opposed by one bullfighter for 15 minutes. If the bull is not dead after those 15 minutes, the bullfighter is taking advice from the presidency of the Corrida. After three notices, the fight is stopped and the bull goes outside the arenas injured but alive. That never happens. The bull is killed every time. It is dragged out of the arena by horses. It is loaded onto a truck with a winch. It was taken to the slaughterhouse where it is cut into pieces. It is then sold in butcher shops, the next day. People are buying pieces of bull to eat...
WOW!
I can buy the steak. Ha! Ha!
Best regards, Jeff
But yes, they sell the bull by piece, in butcher shops, after the bullfight!
