This is a lovely photo of PRINYER'S COVE, in Cressy at the end of the northeast peninsula of Prince Edward County.

Don't be mislead the by PEI, secret cove. I'm sure they meant PEC for Prince Edward County not PEI as in Prince Edward Island. It is in fact a lovey cove that needs to visited by more sailors to enjoy the history and local wineries. For sailing information contact info@chrisclements.ca

Wow! Look at all the weeds! My family overnighted here in 1968 & 1969 on the way to the 1000 Islands. It was a very crowded anchorage in July/August. We could anchor and swim anywhere we wanted.

Our family cottage was next to the white boathouse you see in the distance. It was a fabulous spot toraise kids and enjoy the water and boats. My UEL families settled this area. Only wish I was back there now. although I still live in the area it isn't the same as being on the water.

Brings back alot of memories,my great grandfather donely watkins was the last lighthouse keeper to look after the indian point lighthouse and owned a large farm at the end of cressy/bayside road just down the road from here !My grandfather was born here also and had a cottage across from where the harrison fishery was !what im getting at is that I spent every summer there and i fished and swam in that cove thousands of times ,it was like heaven as peaceful as you can imagine.wish i was there now !
