Baptisery 2, Stobi, FYRO Macedonia

Mnogo dobar ovaj mozaik, uvek mi je bilo interesantno to sto su u ta davna vremena uspevali em da ih sloze ovako lepo, em da bude tako dugotrajno.

Pa koristili su super lepak, a kako nisu imali kompjutere ni televiziju, bili su dokoni pa su mogli da probaju hiljadama puta dok ne slože puzzle!

Их па то слагање мозаика је после био и наш посао!

Да, можда су их стари мајстори намерно остављали недовршене, како би нас збунили и како би смо ми имали шта да радимо!

What beautiful mosaic floor you've captured here. After visiting English Wikipedia I found lack of photos. What do you think to add some of your latest Stobi pics ?

Miša, I'm really glad to see you recently on travel and in good (normal) health and I hope you'll find the way back to Turkey travels someday. Concerning my holidays: I'll go this year again very late in December, but I'm ready for a vacation by now :-)

BTW, it's nice to see your new Panoramio communications with Carlos (FreiGurita) from Portugal - he is a great photographer and also one of my favourites.

This archeological site is young one. I guess real excavations started in 1980's, a lot has been done so far, but I believe plenty is still under the soil, waiting to be discovered. This is the reason you can't find very much photo's of this ancient city.

This mosaic is the most beautiful part of this locality up to now, but I expect in coming years, much more interesting staff to be found.

I was on my way to Athens, and suddenly I have decided to take Vesna with me, and to spend two weeks in Greece, visiting interesting sites which you will see later on these weeks, after I upload a whole collection from this trip. Yes, I felt quite good, as I felt relaxed and released of all problems at home. I didn't even took my cell phone with me and this was right decision.

Док други од оваквих ствари направише велике туристичке атракције,У Македонији, некако све је препуштено зубу времена и дивљим копачима.А има још много оваквих и сличних ископина.

На жалост, у праву си дмитићу! То је судбина малих земаља!!!
