Sunset - West India Docks

Very beautiful! I love the way the fiercly glowing sky has been filtered through the buildings to give such a cool green effect...the street lights at their slightly tipped angle and the seperation of the buildings from their reflections by the horizontal line of the boat are all tying my brain up in knots! A bewitching effect, William, and all given an extra degree of 'zing' from the bright coloured canopies on the bank..

Without those 3 dark coloured buildings at the end, it might lack somewhere for the eye to rest, but you've thought of and incorporated everything here, William. Classic! I adore the sweeping line on your other one of the walkway, but this has quite a different, more blocked composition, which is lovely also! Well done again!

You can have a holiday now.....but tish, tish, I shouldn't say that to you, should I? I have a feeling no holiday is ever quite a holiday in the sense of 'resting'...you'd be a man on a mission with that camera of yours!
