A lot of the old places have been "sanitised" for the tourised trade, I suppose it just couldn't keep going the way it was, people expect a high standard, another mate of mine from South Australia if his ship was in I take him here and he'd drink "Fourpenny Darks", a small glass of really dark "paint remover" Wine, he's now long gone, that stuff has got a lot to answer for. Thanks for the photo it's a beauty , and it's a credit to the people who run the place now, I know a chap who can digitally remove that bloody light pole stuck in the middle of it.
