That city scape reminds me of my last US life when I visited my friend's house for Christmas in Chattanooga, TN, 2005. Thank you for uploading.
Greetings from Japan. Keno

This wonderful photowas uploaded only half an hour (your time) before I came home from nearly 3 weeks in Hospital, Kathy, I have been away since the 10th Sept.
I will take my time to get back to full power, by looking through galleries, yours is very relaxing and gentle, the lovely shots are calming.
Thankyou, I have enjoyed the re-visit

Keno, You are very welcome. I do love the Noog..and not just because my daughter and granddaughters are there. It's a great place to snap. Maybe you can visit again. Mike! Hospital? I hope your recovery is speedy. I will pray for you. I am recovering as well. Mine is not as serious as yours. I just have to stay off my right foot for a few weeks to allow a stress fracture to heal. Please keep me informed of your "getting better"!

Nope, this is the Noog (slang for Chattanooga). While it is a tad more metropolitan than my home, Knoxville, it's not quite on the par of New York City. Very few know this, but Chattanooga became the center of the universe about 10 years ago when our oldedst daughter met her husband. (Who is from there). They now live there with our two beautiful granddaughters!

Dinner in the diner, nothing could be finer..
The Chattanooga Choo Choo!
Here's The Glenn Miller Orchestra. Alas not the version featuring Dorothy Dandridge and the Nicholas Brothers, fantastic tap-dancing! But Youtube has removed it.
Best regards, Kathy

Claus, ahhhh...the choo choo! That song is certainly established in our culture and bleeding into others. Chattanooga is not as exciting musically as some might think, but it is a nice place to visit. More importantly, our two granddaughters live there!

I love this shot, Kathy. I have been to "the Noog" twice with my Scout troop, and your eye does it great credit.
I'm so happy you have granddaughters, and that they live in such a lovely city.
Christmas greetings,
Mary
