The MOST classic picture of the Grand Tetons. I could look at this specific scene for hours without tiring, and you shot is up there with the best. Well done,

Best personal regards,

Greetings Keno, Hank, Dann, Manfred, Micahel, John and Sue, Thanks to all for visiting and commenting on the Beauty of the Ox Bow on the Snake River. It was a magic day for shooting and I was lucky to capture all the elements for such a nice picture. I am glad you like it.

Keno - When you are wealthy and have spare time you should come to this area, bring, but or rent a motorcycle and tour. Nothing is better than this scenery on two wheels with the wind in your face. I will join you.

Hank - this scene was perfect on this morning. It bring to mind the four classic shots that define the Tetons, The Ox Bow, The Snake River Overlook, Shwabacher's Landing and Mormon Row. With the right conditions you can capture the essence of the park. With a few days you can capture the soul of the park and probably lose your to it. You will leave with a heavy heart and a desire to return.

Dann - No professional shadowing me. I think it is luck and patience. ;-))

Manfred - Truly a special area with an abundance of beauty. I hope you can come visit one day and see the beauty first hand.

Michael - Thanks for visiting. I am glad you like this shot. Now that your colors are coming in you can show us the beauty of the north west with fall colors anchored by snow capped peaks in the background. The Cascades should be gorgeous.

John - The surface of the river was like the mirror I had missed so many times in the past. I was finally my reflection shot here many time and this year my luck was with me.

Sue - Thank you, thank you, thank you. What a lovely comment. I really enjoyed taking the picture, the sunrise, the new friends, the setting. And now your appreciation adds a new dimension to the satisfaction I felt just being there and taking pictures. I am glad you like the photograph. Thank you.

Once again, to all who visited, Thank You for taking the time to comment. I am happy I could show you a little of how I spent that weekend.
