This memorial was built in 1911, placed in Queens gardens in front of Buckingham Palace. It is constructed of 2,300 tons of white marble and has Queen Victoria facing north-eastwards down the Mall. The other sides of the monument have bronze statues of the Angel of Justice facing north-west towards Green Park, the Angel of Truth facing south-east and Charity facing Buckingham Palace. On the pinnacle is victory with two seated figures. It has a nautical theme like much of the Mall which are suggestive of Great Britain's naval power.
