Anne, Internestor, vielen Dank! Ich bin nur eine Nacht geblieben, aber auf meiner Rückreise habe ich noch einmal übernachtet da. Liebe Grüsse, May
Gerry, Larry, Nicolas, Elemér, John-Mike, Gabi, Telekomcu, Ntinos, Malcolm, thank you all so much for your wonderful compliments! Larry, to get a Y* from you is a special honour! :) Nicolas, what a compliment! Though I know there are many wonderful photos of mountains around, I like to listen to you. ;) Blai, I love and appreciate your very personal and special comments. I am in this lucky situation, that my mountain and hill world consist of waves and music. Edmundo, yes, you are almost right, it runs from west to east and where I live is a east-west valley. John-Mike. Sorry, I don't vote on any photos, besides the requests are mostly just too loud. ;)
Once again, many thanks to every single person, who has written a comment!
Best wishes, May

We are all in love with the Emmental, May, but then you take us higher and entrall us. May I also admit to enjoying the geomorphic detals of the landscape too?
Warm regards,
Ian

Thank you, Phacelia, for your visit! You are right, Romansh is a Latin language! Its source is in spoken Latin of the late antique time. It may be of interest to you and others that there are several retoromansh languages.
I dearly recommend this link, because on the site of your link above are some mistakes. The main ones: It says there doesn't exist a daily newspaper in Romansh and that it is not an official language. Both statements are wrong! It is an official language in Switzerland, though all Romansh speaking people there speak and write German as well and just as good.
I have uploaded photos and written some more and will upload more photos with texts about this beautiful part of my country under TraveldocuSwiss!
Best wishes, May
