The long urban beach of Serapo in Gaeta (southern Lazio). According to legends the Trojan hero Aeneas buried his nurse Cajeta here on this beach after travelling the Mediterranean Sea in search of a new land for him and the survivors of Troja's battle lost with the Greeks. The legendary tales of Aeneas are narrated by ancient authors like Homer and Virgil.
