Ogden High School is ranked the third most beautiful school, architecturally, in the nation. The complex and intricate architecture can be traced to ancient Assyria, with the sculptured multicolor plaster designs borrowed from the ancient Moors. The tri-tone plaster artwork seen in the auditorium was done by a well know Utah decorator, H. H. Clawson. according to the blurb on web page. I find the architecture more Soviet/Nationalistic in style. They do not credit archit, which is poor. I was told that Bart Wolthuis, father of Mayor John Wolthuis was designer?? One of the cooler building in Ogden.

Dan: One of the nicer, soft photos of OHS I've seen. I graduated from there in '68, lived just 3 houses away and was still late most of the time. Keep up the good work!
