no, but i can see how you'd be mistaken if you've never been there. this a small cinder cone mountain right next to i-5 and just to the west of shasta.
No that is not Mt. Shasta. That is "black Butte" its on Ski village drive or on I-5. whichever way you want to look at it. This picture wasnt taken but a couple hundred feet from my house. If you want a good picture go to the backside of black butte. there is a nice DUMP back there. all of the landfill goes to it
