My son drove from Adelaide to Darwin in a long weekend - and the only animals he saw was some rabbits. The reason - there had been good rain all through the interior in the week before he departed. There was no reson for roo's to hang around on the roads...
Mind you, it took him $450 worth of juice to get up there! Thank god the company paid for that.
