ha-ha, Guy - OK, I didn't pick up that your gooseberry comment was because of the geese . Yes, they are good ol' Canada geese. OK, forget all that long comment about 'gooseberry' (though it was interesting to find out!)

Thanks, steve! I actually don't even keep track of which ones I submit - so it ends up being a surprise when I get voted. Of course, though, it will be much nicer if its Gnarles S. Dudeworthy who ends up there on the podium :D

but Steve - If your shot has the views, then you may be very surprised by the votes (not that they are ever published.) It seems your shot is very well received and has a very very good chance. I'm sure its got many many more votes than the number of people who tell you they did. I know I never announce I vote for something - I only do in a case like on your surf sculpture shot to make the very tiny joke about GSD. And conversely there are an awful lot of people who leave messages saying 'Voted!' on photos that have never even been submitted to The Contest. All of us who you kept telling you were going to upload a special shot on the 1st of the month are rooting for you.

Kamaly how did I miss this great fall shot, and with geese even. Perhaps even gooseberries, who knows? And Steve, I think perhaps you should hold your breath when a wave falls on your head. But hey, what do I know?

:D thank-you for your Vote! Though I sure hope it doesn't keep GSD from triumphing !

And funny: re-reading the description of a Gooseberry I found, I have to laugh: that's what Guy was on his Happy Coupling Beaming with Love shot!

Hey! I heard that! I was not, I was minding my own business and spying on them.

Steve, I almost never announce what I've voted for. That way it cannot sound like I'm fishing for votes, sometimes I bunch the 5 shots with a tag so I can view them, but even that is a coded tag. With of course the exception of Spamalot which has a My Contest tag. Great going with GSD III.
