Ho sempre sognato di salire su questa cima e spero che un giorno ci riuscirò. Ma vedendola da questa prospettiva il tutto mi fa venire i brividi. E' come essere in paradiso e all'inferno (per la paura di morire) nello stesso momento. Bravissimo! Hai reso l'idea

I own a photo of the mountain taken from Zermatt by my grand-father in 1913, sure he would have been so happy to take this one. I truly had a thought to him when shooting it, so moving to me. Thanks for your kind comments.

What an achievment to climb this geat mountain and shooting this lovely picture in black and white in perfect backlight with Monte Rosa just above the summit and Findeln, I guess, in the valley. To me, the main features in the picture are the cross, commemorating the ones who did not make it, your friend and the summit. I know that you made it down as well, as I read a comment of yours on the picture taken from the air in the in the morning at sun rise.
