I´m hooked! (hope that´s the right expression:-) in english) Greetings Klaus
Of course, that´s a Y*!
Klaus, yes, hooked means you can't stop. It means you really like something and can't stop looking at it or eating it or using it in some fashion. But be careful when using the expression because it is also used to mean that one is a drug addict, as in 'He's hooked' - I would always think that the sentence inferred drugs. But yes, you use it properly here and I thank you very much. I hope you will enjoy seeing this bug and the plant that I have found so interesting seeing the last few weeks.
Does this bug live there too?
Thank you for explaning, your photos are drugs enough for me:-). Klaus
Klaus, you are very welcome. And your photos are more wonderful than drugs also! I try to avoid drugs too.
These bugs probably have some sort of drug in them that makes them bad to taste but it keeps them safe.
I love the way the light shines through this little guy Jean.
This is a great macro shot with all the detail complete. Love it.
What a great weekend to be in the Moon-Tins huh?
Regards and regrets from the flatlands.
Hi Jean, after seeing all this nice macros around plants and bugs, I got curious about your occupation :) Cheers, Volkan
jethrohoyt, thank you, I liked the light too. When they are at this stage, they seem so fragile. The wings look very delicate. I am glad that you are enjoying the photos. I was afraid nobody would like to look at bug photos.
Yes, it is a great time to be in the mountains although today we are getting some very much needed rain. When the rain ends, it would be a good time to go to The Great Smokies and see some bears or elk! Have a picnic and a nice drive, see the colors.
Volkan, thank you for your compliment. Normally I am a craftsman although these days I am a caregiver.
OK Jean thanks for the answer, hope to see more of your micro world shots. Best wishes, VOlkan
