It's hard to imagine Switzerland (Suisse) without bridges, viaducts and tunnels. If I ever get the opportunity to visit, I hope I can capture pictures as nice as yours, May!

Julie, Paul, Anne, Tamás, Antonietta, Fai, thank you all so much for your great comments! When travelling, be it by car or train, you won't even notice, because they are below you. ;) I have taken some old roads to show a few of these constructions - I'll upload them sometime later.

I hope you all get the chance one day to see them in reality. :) A few days ago I was able to take a photo of the train on the viaduct, though the position wasn't quite the same as on this one. I am still away for a few days more. I'll see your galleries, when I am at home again.

Wonderful shot of this railway viaduct. I saw many of them in numerous documentaries about Swiss Railroads in Rail Away! And almost always about the Swiss Railroads in wintertime. Loved it!
