A great view of the "Lake" !! I attended Hi-Sierra back in the 70's and recognize the hill-sides, and am HAPPY to see that they've put in some stone and concrete to help preserve the banks.
A quick question... we built a cabin at the upstream end of the lake back in about 1978. All by hand (okay, we used the truck to haul the cedar foundation logs down)... is it still there ?
Hey not sure what cabin you are thinking of...
It is possible you are thinking of something around fox fire and yes i think that cabin is still there. But the old aquatics building is gone we opened a new aquatics building in 2005 on the north side of the lake

Fox Fire is on the West side of the creek ?? Yes, when my brother and I were examining the satellite photo we noticed the old boat-house was gone.
