Beautiful shot Zoe. You in a helicopter?

Thank's Kamaly and Dianne. It was a fun trip. Good timing aswell because the leaves were almost all gone by the time we left. The mountains were all brown.
Guy. No helicopter but we were about 80 meters up on the cliff. It is where the Sulphur River meets the Smoky River. Fantastic view.

This is beautiful Zoe, I'll have to show my husband. We are always looking for good road trips. Is it actually called "Hells Gate" or is that your title? There is a Hells Gate on the Fraser River not far from Hope.

What a view, great photo. Some people scoff at photo fans and say we think if there is no photo it didn't happen, but how great to have this to remember and relive the view. H

Hi cal, I have seen it called hells gate, devils gate and sulphur gate no matter what they call it, it is amazing. It is a great road trip with lots to see on the way. Highly recomended.
Helen and Diana, I still have some more pictures to sort through and post. Thank you all for your comments. Zoe

OMG the yellow bits are TREES!! Wow, what a view, Zoe! I love that curvaceous shore line, snaking along there with those glorious buttery yellow trees ..I was peering at it thinking they were flowers, and had the scale all wrong!
WOW again!

I also love the way you finished off the snaking curve, with the face of the rock in the foreground, wonderful!
