Thanks, Irene, for your comment as well as the link. I hope you enjoy the photo club activity.

I keep intending to go to the Arboretum, but actual I took this in a city park at the other end of Guelph (the far end from where you'd enter from the south). I was surprised to see a pair of these along the path, and I was also surprised to see how sharp the photo was. (I never can anticipate how well my zoom will perform.)

We live fairly near this park and far from the Arboretum, but many years ago, long before I had a digital camera, I used to go there often to take pictures. You've renewed my determination to get there soon! Watch for some results! Greetings, Marilyn

Thank you, Flavio and Tamás. I loved the colours and textures, but didn't know at first how to make a picture of them. I'm glad you think I found a way. Greetings, Marilyn

Well done.

Thanks, Hank, for your visit and all your comments. I was certainly surprised this--actually a couple of them in a nearby park, so of course I had to try.

Jan, Elisabeth, and May, Thank you for your comments, These are special treas, and I had no idea that there were any in the park nearby. Best wishes, Marilyn

Absolutely gorgeous! Perfectly focused, to allow the colours in the background not to be just a blur, and the Ginkgo leaves to be so sharp!

Greetings, Patty
