Thanks, helen and jean ! These guys are removing the bits and pieces of grass and branches that also get dislodged by the raking machines ( my term - not the technical one!) that loosen the cranberries from the plants.
stunning colour in these 4 photos and a lesson from the other side of the world. thank you kamaly for posting any one of these is stunning but i like the curve of blue in this one.
Well, that was Monday for our Canadian friends, but you waiting for turkey, Dann? Goodness, hope you finish up with you diet soon! But just imagine the size of the turkey that would go with this much cranberry sauce!
and thanks, steve! it was great to watch. there'll be a few more shots in the next few days, once I finish downloading everything from the week-end!
LOL, L.L.! I think this is the same farm - and there were two guys out in the bog working with the raking machines. BnP will post those soon. And O.K., Dann, now you've succeeded finally in making me hungry, too! At least there's No Sugar Added!
and Thanks again, Nawitka ! We definitely really lucked out with the weather. It couldn't have been a more perfect day for photographing this (and the sunset after...and the birds I haven't uploaded yet, and the apple picking and farm visit....It was a picture-perfect New England Autumn week-end!)

This is unbelievable! The photo is brilliant as well. :-)
Thanks, Barbara! Well worth a trip to the festival to see it all!
This is a great series, this one especially! Cranberry juice with ginger ale ... traditional Thanksgiving drink! You are lucky to have the blue skies.

The colors are so beautiful and dense. Interesting subject also

Thanks very much for stopping by, Jean-Philippe ! It is certainly a strange way to harvest fruit - sure makes you wonder who thought of it!
Absolutely deserves a vote, I was hoping you would put some of the cranberry ones up for vote. Dianne
