Beautiful moody lighting shot. Again a subject matter that i crave for. You must be akin to me when you go out -forever looking for that certain 'something' different. This certainly achieves that! Herb
I had just left a client's manufacturing facility at the end of the day. As I was driving along the road, I came across this scene with the setting sun shining through a break in the clouds and striking the spray from the irrigation pivot at just the right angle to illuminate the spray while the rest of the scene was mostly in shadow.
I was taking pictures of my client's operations as part of my visit, so I had a camera with me. I pulled off to the side of the road and took a bunch of shots before the lighting changed. This one came out the best of the lot.
Basil, I have gone through similar scenarios many times. Screech the car to a halt, jump out with shaking hands on camera to snatch that once-in-a-lifetime moment that you know will be gone in the next 10 secs. Thanks for the follow-up info Basil. This is what Panoramio is all about!. Cheers. Herb
